A place of beauty
Over the years Kim Campbell has transformed the back garden of her home studio into an oasis of textures, plantings and handcrafted backgrounds. Working her partner, sculptor Francisco Salgado she builds layer upon layer of paint and detail each season. Finding treasures in thrift stores and antique stores is one of her favorite pasttimes. As a photographer, Kim seeks out many perspectives on the world including beauty, texture, depth and complexity.

In 1995, Kim discovered this delightful craftsman tucked into the uber charming Sellwood neighborhood of Portland. From lowering the basement to finishing the attic she had her hand in transforming a lovely home into a creative live/work space for herself, partner and family. Family portrait photography is her livelihood at Campbell Salgado Studio and El Corazón photography her passionate fine art pursuit.
